These delicious beery bhaji's are the perfect afternoon snack, starter or the perfect accompaniment to a selection of Indian treats.
Ingredients:
- 2 Large English Onions, finely sliced.
- 8 Tbsps Whole Meal Flour
- Half Pint of Sussex Best.
- 1 Tsp Turmeric
- ½ Tsp Chilli Powder
- ½ Tsp Ground Coriander
- ½ Tsp Ground Cumin
- ½ Tsp Ground Ginger
- Salt to taste
- Sunflower Oil
Method:
- Mix the onion and spices.
- Add the beer to form a thick gloop, lift out teaspoons of mixture.
- Shallow fry in hot sunflower oil, both sides until golden brown.
- Serve with a quart of Best.
