The Lamb is one of the oldest pubs in England dating from 1180, it had close links to the neighbouring Norman church and numerous ecclesiastical links with local monastic orders.
Ancient features include the well, a secret passage, gargoyles, a crypted cellar and a superb huge original fireplace. Cellar tours available by appointment.
The three bars are also ancient and unspoilt, but the new kitchen and other facilities are bang up to date! Function room facilities available.
Events include live music, comedy and quiz nights. Five beautiful ensuite letting rooms also available.
