Two Golds for Harvey's at London & South East Champion Beer of Britain Competition 2019.

Harvey’s are excited to reveal that they have been the recipients of two gold awards and a joint silver award at the CAMRA London & South East Champion Beer of Britain Competition 2019.

The awards bestowed were as follows:

•   Sussex Best Bitter was judged Gold in the Bitter Category

•   Sussex XX Mild Ale (Dark Mild) was judged Gold in the Mild Category

•   Imperial Extra Double Stout was judged Joint Silver in the Real Ale in a Bottle Category

The finals of the area competition took place after a year of beer tastings, tasting panels and nominations. Successful beers are submitted from these into the style final and are conventionally judged by a panel made up of journalists, fellow brewers, and, of course, a few CAMRA members.
