We have brewed a “Prussian Hopped Pilsner” using Lubelski hops grown in Poland on terrain that once formed a part of the Prussian Empire.
This innovation to our range – perhaps long overdue – was inspired by the impending marriage of our Technical Services Brewer, Edmund Jenner, to Beatrice Von Preussen.
The trial brew, which combines three different malts used in the production of pilsner style beers, will be served at the wedding. It has been temporarily named Brautzeit for the occasion, which translates as ‘the weeks before a wedding’.
The vast majority of the brew will be held in cold store during the forthcoming weeks. We will have some available in 5 litre kegs from the Harvey’s shop sometime in the near future.
