We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new Sussex Single Malt Whisky, the latest addition to the Harvey's Brewery range of Spirits. A premium single malt whisky aged in oak casks for three years prior to bottling.
Produced from Maris Otter barley grown in Sussex and floor malted at Warminster, Britain's oldest working maltings. It is mashed at Harvey's Brewery in Lewes with fresh spring water from the South Downs.
The malt sugars produced at the brewery in Lewes are fermented at the English Spirit Distillery in Great Yeldham. Distillation follows and the resultant malt spirit has been aged in oak casks for three years. The unaged spirit was originally bottled as the Spirit of Sussex.
Harvey's have traded as Wine and Spirit merchants in Sussex for more than two centuries.
