Harvey’s Continued Success: World Beer Awards 2015

Following CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival last week, when Imperial Extra Double Stout was crowned ‘Champion Bottle Conditioned Beer of Britain’, the brewery has now received resounding affirmation at the 2015 World Beer Awards.

Two of our beers – Old Ale and Lewes Castle Brown – have been named the World’s Best Mild and Brown Ale respectively.

Imperial Stout won the national heats as the United Kingdom’s Imperial Stout. Additionally, Elizabethan Ale and Prince of Denmark Strong Stout received gold medals in their categories.

Head Brewer and Joint Managing Director, Miles Jenner, said “This is a marvellous result and is a credit to the brewery staff, but we must also acknowledge the domestic hop and barley growers who supply us.”
