We are excited to announce that the latest collaboration between Harvey's and Burning Sky 'In Harmony Pale Ale' (4.2% abv) will be on it's way to selected stockists from Monday 22nd August 2022.
‘In Harmony Pale Ale’ is a beer five years in the making. Harvey's first collaboration with Burning Sky 'Anglezarke IPA' was created in memory of Ruth Anglezarke, a prominent member of Brighton and South Downs CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) and was the branch liaison officer for both breweries. Brewed at Burning Sky brewery in Firle, it was always the plan for Harvey's to host the reciprocal brew at their Grade II listed brewery in Lewes.
The long awaited return took place on 29th July 2022, where a cask conditioned pale ale has been devised with "with eyewatering amounts of hops". This beer was brewed with a complex hop grist of Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic – none of which have been used at Harvey’s before now. The mash comprised traditional pale ale malts together with naked oats.
"Soft malt profile with a gentle but rising bitterness. Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic hops give flavours of Seville marmalade and fruit pie with a subtle grapefruit note. Fermented with Harvey’s classic yeast strain." Mark Tranter, Head Brewer, Burning Sky.
