About

Maris Otter malted barley and four varieties of English aroma hops combine to produce a balanced beer with a lingering dry finish.

ORIGIN

It is easy to convert drinkers to this 3.5% very moreish bitter, which is named Forward’s Choice in honour of local and national Rugby clubs.

I don't think there are many Pale Ales that stand up quite like this one. It's the perfect example of knowing when you've got a good thing and you understand the centuries of craft.
A great hit of lightly toasted malt followed by notes of orange peel, caramel and passing background bitter, grassy notes.

The lightness makes it a perfect friend of good old fish and chips and it sits perfectly with the crispy golden batter, flaky fish and salty chips. It quickly takes away any oily palate feel and refreshes with every glug.
